personal work spaces

(a glimpse into Christina's new and improved home office)

My friend Christina featured her newly organized and designed home office space on her blog last week and it got me to thinking that I really need to find me a way to work from home. There are a lot of reasons why working for myself and working from home are appealing, not least of which is the excuse to create your own personalized working space inside your already personalized living space. There are lot of great examples of personal work spaces online, one of which Christina linked to in her comments section that is AWESOME. Granted, I don't think it's part of her home, but it's definitely a studio space worth gushing over:

Um, this is a little weird & "small world". Moved back to Ottawa from Vancouver recently, looking for apts so I googled "Duncannon" and saw your photos of same. Your apt was 2nd floor, right over the front door, right? No, I'm not a stalker, I lived there back in 197???

Wow, did that bring back memories. That kitchen was ok for me at the time, I can't imagine doing anything in it now. Rest of the apt was great tho.

Take it you don't live there anymore? Is it still rentals or did they go condo?

You can post a reply here or email me at bona_verba@hotmail.com

Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
